Broadland Aerials  install benchmarked aerials that meet the very strict criteria set down as part of the aerial benchmarking scheme. The aerials we install will last for many years and will be perfect for the fast approaching digital switchover. It is a fact that some companies install cheaper aerials which may not be suitable for digital and will require upgrading again very soon. This we feel is a false economy and why for our customers only the best products will do.

Freeview channels and services are digitally transmitted. They are received through a rooftop aerial ( In certain high signal areas,it is possible to install in a loft area.) Most UK homes are in a coverage area. If you are unsure whether you are in a coverage area you can check online at the Freeview website. The signal required for the Freeview service is of a higher quality than analogue therefore an aerial upgrade to a quality digital aerial may be needed. Broadland Aerials specialise in these upgrades

Once you are set up to receive Freeview, there is no more to pay and no contract. It really is free to view!!

If you find that, having purchased and installed your Freeview adaptor, you are experiencing poor quality pictures i.e. a mosaic or pixillating effect or indeed no picture then you will need to get your existing aerial installation checked as this will often be a sign that an aerial upgrade is required.
