Digital Switchover

Getting your home Digitalready :

• How many TVs do you have in your home? Consider every TV set that you want to continue watching. Any TV left unconverted will not work after switchover.
• Do you like to record TV programmes? Video and DVD recorders will still play back and record but most won't be able to record one channel while you watch another. If you enjoy recording, consider getting a digital TV recorder that will also convert your TV.
• Your TV aerial Your TV aerial may need upgrading, however some will be fine after switchover. If you decide to get a service like Freeview, BT Vision or Top Up TV - Contact Us to arrange a signal test

What is the Digital Switchover?
The UK television broadcasting system is about to undergo a major change. Since the new millenium, Digital TV has been available to most of the UK but now the whole of the UK is gearing up to make the full change from old 'analogue' TV to the new Digital TV future.

So where do I turn for advice on aerial upgrades?

*The Digital switchover will commence in the borders and North Wales in 2008 and finish in London and Ulster in 2012. **the CAI guarantees all installations carried out by a registered CAI plus installer for a 12 month period (in the unlikely event that the CAI member does not honour their own guarantee. The guarantee covers the first £500 of any one claim relating todefective workmanship on a domestic installation).
